A PRIME LOCATION HI-ENd INstallation
Lusin Restaurant, Mayfair, London, W1
Case Study No 2
The Project
An upmarket Armenian Restaurant on two levels with low ceilings and no natural ventilation located in London’s exclusive Mayfair. It was decided that a full discrete air conditioning and fresh air ventilation system was required.
Evolution
The Solution
Working closely with the architects and interior designers, Bonair engineered and implemented an air conditioning system based on Daikin’s VRV equipment with concealed indoor units and sleek bar-grilles factory painted in black. The grilles were set into the brown stone walls of the restaurant providing a premium, stylish finish that complimented the aesthetic interior design of the restaurant.
Ventilation was achieved using a large Daikin VAM Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit providing balanced, tempered, filtered fresh air to all parts of the restaurant, integrated with the air conditioning outlet grilles and extracting from the toilets and bar service areas. Madoka Controllers provided independent controls to the various areas of the restaurant.
Working together
The Conclusion
We have since successfully implementing similar air conditioning and ventilation systems with this high-profile architect in London for the last 30 years.
